WHEN: Sunday, January 13, 2:00-5:00 pm

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER: Jim Grace, executive director of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, will talk about how sea changes in contract law have affected the lives of everyone who works in the media and publishing industries. (A question and answer period will follow.)

Please bring some party food, since refreshments are potluck. We'll bring juice and soda to go with the food; feel free to bring wine or beer. Bring your writer friends, as well.

Mid-party, Soul Brown will host a reading at which six of the thirty 2007 authors will give us a 5-minute tease of the flavor of their books. Authors will be selling their books so bring cash or checks. (Some authors may be able to take credit cards.)

In fact, everyone is welcome to use our display tables to put out (and potentially sell) your books, articles, copies of poems, brochures, leaflets and business cards.
