POETRY WORKSHOPS

Kathleen Spivack (Watertown, MA) is offering group sessions: two for top advanced poets, and two for top advanced prose writers.

These sessions work specifically on manuscript preparation and publication and offering  community and encouragement.. Preference goes to writers who have worked with her and to writers who have already published something.

1) Advanced Prose Writers. Two Sunday Morning Sessions. Sunday January 17, and Sunday April 11, 10-12 am. $125.00 includes both sessions, (no single sessions offered). Limited to 6.

2) Advanced Poets. Two Sunday Morning Sessions, Sunday January 24, and Sunday May 2. 10-12 am. 125.00 includes both sessions, (no single sessions offered.)

Spivack is author of The Break-Up Variations; The Beds We Lie In ; The Honeymoon; Swimmer in the Spreading Dawn; The Jane Poems; Flying Inland; Robert Lowell, A Personal Memoir. Published in over 300 magazines and anthologies, her work has also been translated into French. She is a permanent Visiting Professor of Creative Writing/ American Literature at the University of Paris, Sorbonne. In Boston, Spivack directs the Advanced Writing Workshop, an intensive coaching program for advanced writers.
